When you have committed to reading a book you really find you don’t like

OK – it really is all right to just say this isn’t the book for me and put it down – no matter how many other people say it’s wonderful.

  1. This is hilarious! And helpful.
    I have often found that my disinterest in (or outright dislike of) a book is mood-dependent, so taking a break to get out of a bad mood sometimes works for me.
    (Thanks to the writer for the article photo. I’m still very sad to have lost Alan Rickman.)
